Technical lesson- How to submit your portfolio

Technical lesson- How to submit your portfolio correctly...

This week we went through the final stages of how to submit your work and in what order and how, it was very useful to go through the stages of how to complete your PDF 'Mini portfolio' as I still find it challenging to work InDesign and Photoshop, so this information was useful during this lesson.

He clearly structured out what and how to do it and in what order I needs to be submitted:
You can create your first page with FMS404ShootingBeautyHodgkinsN, then with a link to your blogspot.com or you can attach it to the end of your evaluation, followed by your name, as long as it is attached, thats the important part.

  • Page 1: Mood Board of Inspirational word 'Fresh'
  • Page 2: Inspirational word image of Editorial 'Fresh'
  • Page 3: Storyboard of Brand 'NARS' (NO Repeats from moodboard)
  • Page 4: Brand Image 'NARS'
  • Page 5: Evaluation with LINK to Blog
I found this useful and structured it out clearly for me to understand, I had a bit of bother with InDesign but I went over it with Pete in lesson, with creating 'MASTERS' 'Master A' for landscape and 'Master B' for portrait, so you can have each slide differently or however you want your images to appear. This was difficult to take in and learn at first because of using PC's all my life and trying to learn all the short cuts and devices on the IMAC, but I feel slightly more confident with this as each week goes by.

I also learnt how to line up the images with the border, but I still went onto youtube to recap this because I forgot, It is important to do this so you don't cut any of your images out and when your lecturer opens up your work, that they can see the images neatly and clearly instead of it all being a mess.

An image below of what we learnt to change the view of our slides, either portrait or landscape when creating pages, to structure out our work to submit.
