Technical- Test shots and what I did during my week...
This week, I tried out the reflectors, with the soft box light to try and test the lighting for my brand image shot, I really loved how my images came out and I used my model that I will be using for my brand image which was a bonus. The lighting I loved the pose and the direction I gave, it worked well and this lighting really works well with my model.
I am glad I tested before I shot my brand image shoot, to make my life a lot easier on the day and to know exactly what I want to achieve. By doing this also it didn't drop me into the deep end when trying to shoot my image, being prepared is key and working what lighting and what model will work best for your image.
A few more images of my test shoot, using soft boxes, black back drop, it gave my images a nice soft lighting and the images came out great, I was very happy with these. I can see how my technical skills have improved. During our lesson we were given free time to play around with equipment to see what we would like to use for our shoots, test and error. I am very glad I did this because it made my life easier knowing what I wanted and how I could achieve this.
